Topcon Develops 3D Measurement System Used on Moving Vehicle

This report  from Asia where Topcon Corp has developed the "IP-S2," a system that can measure geospatial data of areas around a moving vehicle.

According to the article at Tech-On... "The IP-S2 was exhibited for reference at the 1st Int'l Automotive Electronics Technology Expo, which took place from Jan 28 to 30, 2009, in Tokyo. The system will be helpful in creating maps for car navigation systems."
