RECOVERY Starving White Horse Culvert and Surface Replacement. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).
The work consists of removal existing structures and installing new culverts and hauling, placing and compacting rock surfacing on approximately 19.83 miles of road. Work includes placing rip rap, renovating roads which includes: blading, scarification of pot holes, brushing, chipping cut brush, cleaning culverts, reestablishing and cleaning ditches and correcting drainage patterns, end hauling excess waste materials as needed and seeding and mulching. Project price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS: 237310. The project site is located in the Glendale Resource Area, Medford District, Oregon. Estimated start work date is June 30, 2010, and performance time is 120 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: None; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
