Prolec’s Live Road Show in Hamburg

Hamburg, Germany, June 24-25 - Prolec, Ltd held its second annual Live Road Show in cooperation with MOBA Corporation.  In addition to Prolec’s line of 2D & 3D excavator machine control and monitoring products, MOBA demonstrated their new MOBA3D machine control system for dozers and graders, the latest Javad GPS technology was also on display.  

“We are pleased with the turn out,” says Jurgen Reineke Prolec’s German Business Development Manager. “There were dealers and customers in attendance from 10 European countries. Our new Prolec dealer from Moscow, Igor Mastikov, made the trip just for the Road Show,” Reineke added.
 
The event was also supported by Prolec’s German distribution partners Illig Lasersystems, Tolk & Düsterhus and Manfred Harms KG, a new distribution partner from Hamburg..

Entry-level systems such as the Digmaster S, provide 2D excavator machine control at an affordable price where full 3D solutions are not required. Also on show was Prolec’s Digmaster Pro a 2D/3D, Digmaster Pro which can be used as a 2D stand alone system, easily upgraded to 3D via software and GPS. Prolec’s subscription to the open positioning architecture philosophy adds to the systems flexibility by allowing contractors to use GPS of their choosing.

The last excavator system on show was Prolec’s pcX-3D a customisable solution which has been extensively used in marine environments using Prolec’s AS8 stainless steel marine grade sensor..

Attendees were able to discuss third party integration, retrofits as well as operate fully functional machines.  “There is no substitute for a hands-on operation of these machine systems, contractors see the value very quickly,” says Gary Escott, Prolec’s Sales & Marketing Director

Allsat and Ascos, both subsidiaries of EADS Group, in attendance to discuss topics such as the transmission of RTK correction data via reference network, using come2ascos modem they also provided a virtual base station using the latest Javad GNSS technology.

 MOBA Mobile known through their world leading paver machine guidance technology, presented their GS506 machine guidance as 2D solution and also showed the capability of the a 3D variant based on Carlson Software’s ‘Grade v3.2’ for graders and dozers.
