Welcome to 2012! And welcome to the January 2012 edition of our eNewsletter. 2012 will continue to bring higher adoption rates for 3D machine control and positioning. I hope we can continue to serve as your knowledge base as you explore the benefits the technology brings.
I, for one, am happy to say goodbye to 2011. Who would have thought the recession would still be lingering after four years, and continuing to buffet other world economies? As they say, time heals all wounds and we have all paid our economic dues, pun intended.
We are excited to announce the first print edition of Machine Control Magazine this month, publishing and releasing just prior to World of Concrete. Please drop me an email and I will personally see that you receive a copy.
Speaking of World of Concrete, I hope to see you there. Drop me a line if you would like to meet up and talk shop. I'm looking forward to several already-scheduled business meetings and excited to see what the industry unveils at the show. Stay tuned to MCO for WOC show coverage.
We have 7 new articles from our esteemed machinecontrolonline columnists as well as two guest authors. A special thank you to Paul F. Hahn, Marco Cecala, Chad Cooper, Ron Ciccarone, Joe Sass, Don Talend and Jeff Winke for their contributions. Look for brand new articles from these gentlemen and more in the print edition out in about two weeks.
On a personal note, I would like to thank everyone for the heartfelt condolences on the passing of our daughter, Bonnie Marie. Although just shy of her third month of life, she brought our family and friends closer together. I very much appreciate all of the kind words.
As always, I hope you enjoy this newsletter! Please stay tuned, visiting us often as we update the website daily. Please drop me a line if there is any subject about which you would like to see more information. I personally read every email!
More to come…
Best regards,
Randy Noland
