Noland
Welcome to the April 2011 edition of our eNewsletter. For those of you who attended ConExpo, I hope you survived the long week in Las Vegas. There was a flurry of newly-released products and innovations. Please see our News section below for more information.
ConExpo 2011 was special for MCO as we launched the charter edition of Machine Control Magazine. The response has been fantastic and I would like to thank everyone for their support. If you haven't had a chance to read it, please click here. The magazine contains 48 pages, filled with 11 unique articles as well as product info.
In our Video of the Week below, we have produced a short overview of how to navigate and enjoy the new digital magazine. The interoperability of embedded links and videos create a rich and engaging experience. If you have a story or video to contribute, please contact me at editor@machinecontrolonline.com. We are committed to adding more of this content in the coming issues.
In this month's newsletter, Marco Cecala reviews ConExpo from his perspective. Paul F. Hahn follows up on his last article with a second installment of "The Real Impact of Machine Control" by interviewing an early adopter. Nigel Adam discusses the safety benefit of machine control technology and Ron Ciccarone continues with part 3 of "Modeling a Parking Lot." Joe Sass has written a compelling call-to-action article "Is GPS In Jeopardy?" This is a valid question and I hope you have the time to check it out and get involved.
We continue to hear from our readers about new projects and bidding opportunities. If you are considering positioning and 3D machine control technology, welcome. MachineControlOnline.com is committed to serve as your knowledge base.
As always, I hope you enjoy this newsletter! Please stay tuned, visiting us often as we update the website daily. Please drop me a line if there is any subject about which you would like to see more information. I personally read every email!
Best regards,
Randy Noland

=Nigel Adams Machine Control and Safety - Revisited by Nigel Adams : – One of my previous articles addressed the topic of machine control and safety and explained how machine control can contribute towards a safer job site. Ron Ciccarone Modeling a Parking Lot Part 3 by Ron Ciccarone, LS: – Well, we are now at the 3rd installment of parking lot modeling. In review, I spent some time just reviewing the plan files and the cadd file. Deciding what information we had and how the parking lot should look. It is a good idea to get a 3D picture in your mind of how the model should look. Then I proceeded to examine the ...
