Recovery Project

Description - Reconstruction and realignment of the Jeffery Cemetery Road on the Hoosier National Forest. Work will consist of reconstructing the road to a twelve foot width with ditch, culvert installations, drainage dip construction, ROW clearing, aggregate placement and gate fabrication and installation. The base bid item is approximately 1 mile of reconstruction. Option items are included for the aggregate placement on the base 1 mile and an additional mile of reconstruction and aggregate for a total of approximately 2 miles.

Project Location: The road is located in East Central Perry County, East of Oriole Pond and SR 66 approximately 5 miles south of Sulpher, IN.

Project dates: Work on the base item is expected to begin in August 2010 and be completed before winter. Optional items, if awarded, would add time to the contract with a possiblity of completion of those items during the Summer 2011.

Project Price Range: $100,000 - $250,000

This is project is advertised for full and open competition pusuant to FAR 19.10.
