RECOVERY ACT – The work consists of slip lining approximately 240 feet of 36” reinforced concrete pipe for the principal spillway of a flood control dam. The pipe will be repaired by slip lining with a high strength polyethylene pipe. The voids between the two pipes will be filled with grout to make a water tight seal. Minor clearing and construction of an access road is also involved.

Magnitude of work is between $100,000 and $250,000.

This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business firms.

Solicitation will issue on or about May 14, 2010, on FedBizOpps and offers will be received on or about June 14, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. Interested firms are required to assure if any amendments to this solicitation have been issued prior to submitting an offer.

Site showing is scheduled on or about May 26, 2010. Details of the site showing will be in the solicitation.

Successful offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov, and must have completed the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) to receive a contract award. Failure to register in these systems may result in the offer not being considered for award.
