The intent of this project is to remove earthen dams that form the ponds in Camp Creek and to restore the creek to a more natural condition. The creek is typically dry during the months of July and August. The ponds were created to hold water for livestock to drink during the dry months of the year. The work on ponds 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13 and 18 include dam removal, excavation, fill, grading and stream restoration. The work on ponds 10, 15, 16, 20 and 21 includes dam removal, excavation, fill, grading, stream restoration, placement of woody debris, placement of rock and a culvert replacement. The in-water work window for Camp Creek is July 1, 2010 through October 31, 2010.
