RECOVERY--The work is for rehabilitation of four spillway gates and guide slots located in bays indicated by the Contracting Officer. Rehabilitation includes furnishing new parts, clean and remove debris on each gate, replace seals on each gate, remove wheel assemblies, disassemble wheel assemblies, clean wheel assembly parts, inspect wheel assembly parts, reassemble wheel assemblies, reinstall wheel assemblies on each gate, install wear shoes, hanger bolt assemblies and access covers on each gate, rehabilitate latching mechanism, load testing, providing access for performing guide slot repair, providing a Certified Weld Inspector to assist Government personnel during Hydraulic Steel Structures (HSS) inspections, inspect and repair guide and tread plates, welding, line boring, rebuilding wheel bores, furnish new bearings, and painting.
